Error / Frozen "Requires internet connection for the first play"

I tried to play it a couple days ago and it froze on the black screen that has the message displayed "Requires internet connection for first play" and the only buttons (options) were [Ok] and [Close] and none of them do anything. Waste of time, unless this problem is fixed. Im sure this is a fun game, but my experience with the game has not been good
